What we do

Six ways we work with people.

Every one of these started because somebody asked us for it. None of them started as a registration group on a form.

01

Little Pals

Complex care for young children, delivered by a team trained by registered nurses.

Little Pals is our program for young children whose care includes clinical needs: PEG feeding, airway suction, and the day to day management that comes with them.

Every worker on the Little Pals team is trained directly by registered nurse professionals before they walk into a home. Not an online module. Real training, signed off by someone who does this for a living.

Families searching for this kind of support usually tell us the same thing: they had almost given up finding someone who could do it properly. We built this team so that search ends here.

Community Access

Out in the world doing real things, not driving around to fill in a shift.

This is the core of what we do. Getting out and actually doing something, not a supervised lap of the shops because the hours have to go somewhere.

We buy the things that make a yes possible. The water sport insurance exists so someone can go fishing off a tinny through summer, because the answer to that should not be no.

Same crew every week, so nobody spends the first twenty minutes of their afternoon explaining themselves to a stranger again.

Any age, out in the community, week in week out.

The Teen Crew

A real group of mates, and a plan for what comes after school.

Every teenager deserves a crew. Not just support workers and family, but people their own age who actually want to hang out with them.

Our teen group started as a social program and turned into a genuine friendship group. It stopped mattering what was planned for the day. They just wanted to be together.

The second half of this program is the part families think about at 2am: when the school bell rings for the last time, the structure and the built in social world disappear almost overnight. We start planning for that long before it arrives.

Pre-teens and teenagers building friendships, confidence and a next step.

School Holidays

Three days a holiday, and we invite other providers to bring their people too.

Three days each school holidays, built so the break has something in it besides waiting for term to start again.

The unusual part is who else is in the room. We invite two other providers to bring their participants along, because no single provider has every kind of person your young person might get on with.

Sharing a program costs us nothing and gives everyone a wider group to find their people in. That trade has never once looked like a bad one.

1:1 support

One person, matched properly, who keeps turning up.

Hands on help at home, support out in the community, or skilled clinical care where it is needed. Same team, same energy, whatever the shift looks like.

We match people deliberately. Shared interests, right personality, right skills. Then we build a small team around each person so a sick day never becomes a stranger at the door.

Great support is personal. Ours always is.

Any age, at home or out in the community.

Adventure

Jet skis, four wheel drives on the beach, kayaks and camping.

Life should have highlights worth talking about. Adventure exists so the week has something in it besides appointments.

Jet skis. Four wheel driving on the sand. Kayaking. Camping. If it takes an extra permit, an extra insurance conversation or an extra pair of hands to make it happen safely, we go and sort that out.

This is not a program that fills hours. It is one that fills a life.

Anyone, at any age, who wants a story worth telling.

Where we go

Newcastle, Maitland, the Hunter and the Coast.

We already have cars heading up through Stroud and Dungog. If you are somewhere in between, ask us. The answer is usually yes.

Any age

From infancy through to young adulthood, and we grow with people rather than handing them on.

In your world

At home, at school, out in the community, on the water. Wherever the actual life is happening.

Say yes first

If something needs an extra permit or a call to an insurer to happen safely, we go and sort it out.

Let's have a chat.

A phone call, a coffee, or a meet and greet at your place. No paperwork until you actually want to go ahead.
